The power mirror we offer can greatly improve the driver's convenience, allowing the driver to adjust the exterior mirror without further operation due to long distances. This is a power mirror, where you can adjust the angle of the mirror through the car power switch to maximize the field of view. In contrast, the driver needs to reach out of the window or get off the car to fold the manual folding mirror.
To replace the side view mirrors, first, roll down the window of the car. For electric mirrors, disconnect the negative battery terminal after this. Remove the screws of the door panel, then take off the trim with a pry tool, and finally take off the door panel. If you have electric windows, unplug the harness. Use the nut driver to remove the nuts holding the side mirror in place and then remove it.
For the installation, if it's an electric mirror, replace the harness, checking that everything is properly hooked up. To complete the installation, screw the interior door panel back in place on the door and replace the trim. Put the negative battery cable back on the terminal and tighten properly. Put the side view mirror in place so that the bolts on the mirror are through the holes in the assembly. Tighten the nuts with the nut driver until the mirror is held firmly. Test to see if the mirror wiggles.
The vehicle fitment for these mirrors includes the following models: 1988-1998 Chevy Pickup Truck, 1992-1998 GMC Pickup Truck, 1992-1994 Chevy Suburban, 1992-1998 GMC Suburban, 1992-1994 Chevy Jimmy, 1995-1998 Chevy Tahoe, 1995-1998 GMC Yukon, and 1999 Chevy Tahoe 5.7L engines, as well as the 1999 GMC Yukon and 2000 GMC Suburban.
The mirror features include manual and telescopic extension, power-adjustable big glass, and manually adjustable convex spotter glasses. However, it is important to note that this mirror is designed to replace an original mirror with these exact options. If you do not have the options listed, there is a possibility that this mirror may not function properly.
The towing mirrors provide better and wider angle of rear view, improving visibility and reducing blind spot, thus upgrading road safety. What you get is a Pair of Towing Mirrors (including Left Side and Right Side) and a 1 Year Warranty.
